Manufacturer: OBREO Year: 2013 Notes: Walnut processing line with a production capacity of 1,200 to 2,000 kg/hour. Composed of: Receiving hopper where the harvest is poured; this harvest is collected directly from the tree and may contain stones, sticks, and other debris, which are filtered out as the crop advances through the processing system. Elevator belt to the first trommel transports the crop from the hopper to the first trommel. All belts in the processing system are powered by 0.75 and 0.9 kW motors. First trommel and its fan: used to filter the crop and separate the nuts from leaves and lighter debris by supplying high-velocity air via the fan. The trommel is inside a metal housing, measuring 950 x 1,500 mm with 25 mm perforations. The fan supplies high-velocity air to blow the nuts and separate empty nuts and light debris. Conveyor belt removes leaves and light debris from the first trommel out of the system. CTL-400 model conveyor belt (9,500 x 400 mm) with smooth belt, folded sheet metal frame with scraper and cover along the entire length plus an angled collector to remove material from the destemmer and leaf cleaner. As the crop advances through the trommel, rotating, it removes shell fragments and remaining light sticks. Both the trommel and sheller have power ratings of 3 and 3.6 kW respectively. Conveyor belt transports nuts from the first trommel to the sheller. The sheller is a rotating trommel that separates the shell and remaining debris from the nut. An auger expels filtered waste after the sheller out of the system. Sorting conveyor belt collects the filtered crop, leaving only nuts; on this belt, ripe nuts are selected and green nuts separated. Mature nuts are transported to drying rooms for storage and drying. Elevator belt transports the filtered harvest to the drying rooms. Drying rooms have a storage capacity of 1,200 kg each. Conveyor belt collects nuts from drying rooms and transports them to the air separator. Elevator belt feeds into the air separator, which uses hot air to separate empty nuts. Heater control panel regulates temperature, intensity, and drying times. Final conveyor belt carries fully filtered nuts (after empty nuts removal) to the elevator belt feeding the grading machine for size sorting and packaging preparation. Final elevator conveyor lifts nuts into the grading machine from the top for size sorting. Grading machine uses filters to separate nuts by size. Packaging machine packages the sorted nuts. Scale is used to prepare product packaging by kilogram. Air Power 3 HP 200L compressor included.
