After manual loading via a suction cup, the eggs are transported through rollers that align them for perfect separation of the shells. The machine features several sets of cracking units, consisting of scoops to collect the yolk and white and a blade to cut the shell. Once the cut is made, the yolk is separated from the white and transported to special containers. The shell is removed from the machine via a screw conveyor.
