Manufacturer: SIEMENS GAMESA Model: EOLICA SEVI Notes: Process description: SEVI is a semi-automatic system for assembling the inboard beam part of the G128 blade. The beam consists of four 30-meter pieces. The pieces are loaded with a crane. They are held with suction cups and mechanical clamps. Operators apply adhesive. The system uses artificial vision to calculate the required position and assembles the pieces by moving each motor to the calculated position. Then it uses air heaters to cure the adhesive. Main parts of the line: Piece clamping systems: Pneumatic template clamps. Suction and vacuum system (venturis and pumps). Mechanical clamps. Piece movement systems: Web rotation: motors with spindles. Upper cap rotation: motors on the rotation axis. Upper cap translation: towers move on rails. Position adjustment of webs and upper cap: motors with spindle. Artificial vision system: 28 cameras and LED lights. Software to recognize gaps between pieces. Curing system: 8 heaters. Tubes and gutters. Adhesive curing control system (with thermocouples). Detection: Presence of pieces. Position of railings and stairs that may interfere with movements.
