The equipment consists of an autoclave into which the wood to be treated is loaded. After an initial vacuum phase, the impregnating solution is drawn from a tank and forced under pressure into the wood. The combination of the initial vacuum with the high-pressure phase ensures maximum penetration of the active ingredients.
